Building on layers

In this process I show from beginning to end, or in this case just where I am in the painting process. I started off with doing a light gesso, just so I could keep that canvas texture, and see how the washes would work over the more exposed canvas.
The colorfield works like this are a way for me to think things through, in a less aggressive, and expressive form. It's calming in a way. enjoy the process, and let me know if you have any questions, or would like to know more about my work.
