Baroque but not poor

This is a short project that came about. I had a painting that I didn't like, and wasn't finished as I didn't like the direction that it was going in. I worked on that piece in the early part of the summer, got to where it was at the time, took it down and rolled it up. I had forgotten about it, until I pulled it out, and unrolled it. At first I didn't recognize the work, then it all started coming back to me. I had just taken down the previous painting, and felt I needed to get started on something new. I wanted it smaller which it is, and I had the feeling of going Baroque. I had just cleaned the studio as well, and I was all set to get ready to work!
